Drawing inspiration from traditional country homes and classic Arts & Crafts interiors, this design layers rich colours, natural materials, and carefully considered detailing to create spaces that feel welcoming from the moment you arrive.
A palette of deep burgundy, forest teal, warm neutrals and natural timber forms the foundation of the interior, complemented by textured stone, floral wallpapers and brass accents that add depth and sophistication. Rather than relying on minimalist trends, the design embraces colour and pattern in a balanced way, creating visual interest while maintaining a cohesive and timeless feel throughout the home.
The open-plan living area serves as the heart of the house, where exposed timber beams, a striking stone fireplace and generous windows work together to create a space that feels both grand and inviting. Carefully selected furnishings and layered textures soften the architecture, while bespoke joinery and feature lighting introduce moments of craftsmanship that elevate the everyday experience.
The kitchen was designed to complement the living space rather than compete with it. Deep teal cabinetry, warm timber flooring and understated brass hardware provide a refined backdrop, allowing the surrounding materials and natural light to take centre stage. Throughout the home, each material was chosen not only for its appearance, but also for the way it contributes to a rich, tactile environment that feels authentic and enduring.
